Zim Smith Bike Ride
May 8, 2025 join the Albany Ski Club on a bike ride on the Zim Smith Bike trail located across from The Mill on Round Lake.
We will meet in the parking lot starting at 4:30 pm. Be on your bikes ready to ride by 4:50pm.
Ride will kick off at 5:00pm.
We will start at the parking lot located at 97 English Rd Round Lake NY across from The Mill and end in the same location.
After the ride we will go to The Mill located at 2121 Route 9 Round Lake NY for happy hour and socializing at 7:00pm.

Motorcycle ride in honor of Dory Alexander
May 18, 2025 Albany Ski Club will be taking a Motorcycle ride in Honor of Dory Alexander who was a very instrumental part of the club. Many fondly remember her from the ski trips she planned.
We will be meeting at 9:00am, Location TBD.
Once everyone is set and ready to go we will set off for a day of riding in Dory's memory.
We will ride all day and stop whenever someone needs to stop.
We will be stopping to have lunch in Lake Luzerne. Thank you to Club Members Crystal and Paul who have allowed us to use their Lake house for a BBQ we will be having Hot dogs, hamburgers and sausage around 2pm. **If you are not riding but would like to join for lunch in Dory's memory, please email activities@albanyskiclub.com and let us know you will be joining**
Mohawk Hudson Bikeway
June 5, 2025 join Albany Ski Club on a bike ride on the Mohawk Hudson Bikeway.
We will meet in the parking lot located at 2 Rice Rd, Schenectady NY start at 4:30pm.
Be on bikes and ready to ride by 4:55pm. We will start riding at 5:00pm
We will ride along the river side and finish where we started at the parking area.
After the ride we will socialize at Jumping Jacks located at 5 Schonowee Ave, Scotia NY.

Warren County Bikeway
June 21, 2025 come join Albany Ski Club on a bike ride on the Warren County Bikeway.
We will meet in the parking lot located on Round Pond Rd near the Round Pond in Queensbury starting at 9:30am.
On bikes ready to go by 9:55 am. We will start riding at 10am
We will ride down to the Battlefield park located in Lake George NY where we will have a BBQ at the park. ** If you are a member there is no charge! For NON-members there will be a $5 fee charged for the BBQ**
Come join us for our Fifth annual picnic at Grafton Lakes State Park and spend a great day with your fellow club members on Saturday, July 19th.
Bring your bathing suit, walking shoes, bicycle, fishing pole, or kayak to enjoy the many ponds and public areas the park has to offer. Have a favorite backyard game or board game to play bring it with you! We encourage early arrival due to parking availability.
We will be gathering at the Boathouse Tent area beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Boathouse Tent area is located on Second Pond, and is reserved for the Albany Ski Club.
Around 12:00 noon we will be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers and sausage. We have a covered area, so rain or shine, some of us will be there!
Bring a dish to share and games to play. When you register, you can let us know what you are bringing. There will be picnic tables, but feel free to bring a folding chair.
Bring your own beverages. Adult beverages can be consumed at our picnic area in moderation, but should not be taken to the public beach or public areas.
There is a fee of $8 per vehicle to enter the park. Carpooling is a good idea, in addition to arriving early!
Guests of current members are welcome. **Guest will be charged a $5 fee**
The park can reach full capacity on very warm days and holiday weekends. If the park reaches full capacity and has to close the front gates, they have parking areas reserved for pavilion guests. Guests may have a short walk to the Boathouse Tent area but they will be able to enter and park. Please let the park staff know that you are here for a pavilion with the Albany Ski Club and they will be directed where to go. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Grafton Lakes State Park, includes six ponds and nearly 2500 acres. Long Pond has a large, sandy beach. Anglers can go after rainbow and brown trout in Long, Second and Shaver Pond. Pickerel, perch, and bass are abundant in all ponds including Mill Pond and walleye are found at the Martin-Durham Reservoir. All ponds have launch facilities for canoes, sailboats and rowboats, electric boat are allowed. Visitors can walk the nature trails, and hike, bike or ride horses along the 25 miles of park trails (No ATV use allowed).

Start the night off with a Southern Style BBQ dinner consisting of Smoked BBQ Chicken, Pulled pork or Both. Potato Salad, Western Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese and Grandmas Cole Slaw. *Child BBQ also available*
Finish out with Dessert before heading over to watch the exciting Rodeo.
At 7:30 pm the BBQ ends and everyone will head over to watch the talented Cowboys and Cowgirls!!
