Are you familiar with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation website?  The website maintains a list of outdoor recreational areas in the capital district?   Check out the link to see what the areas have to offer!  These areas often provide opportunities for Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing,  hiking and enjoying all the seasons.

Link to NYS website for snowshoeing and other winter adventures.
